As a working clairvoyant, I am endlessly confronted with the entire scale of human misery and joy. One issue I've come across time and time again is the soulmate connection. We can distinguish three different types of soulmate connections and all of them are karmic.
First, there is the regular soulmate connection. Here we find a happy, comfortable, and almost effortless connection with someone. It’s a person we feel we’ve known our entire life.
Next is the real karmic soulmate connection. This can be very hard work. You may have an intense like or dislike for that person, but they come into your life to teach you something. A lesson has to be learned and a debt repaid—don’t worry, it’s not a financial debt! Connecting with your karmic soulmate can be extremely painful, but is necessary for our spiritual growth. Once the lesson is learned, the relationship has done its job and we may find we’ve shifted onto another path.
Finally, there is the connection that time never dims. The Twin Soul or Twin Flame connection is an instant attraction of energy. It’s the energy of two souls connecting over time, distance, and even years. Very often, there is an initial meeting of the Twin Souls and usually, one half of the duo is more spiritually awakened and “gets it”. The other may not be quite there, yet they are deeply touched by the experience.
Sometimes these Twin Souls remain in contact like this but often they are “deliberately” torn apart and separated over years. During this time, each focuses on their own life, their commitments, and karma in other relationships before finally reuniting decades down the line.
Is a twin flame connection destined to be?
When Twin Flames come back together again, it’s synchronicity. It’s entrancing to find the same magical alchemy still at work, just as it was when these souls first met. It is recognition of a deep-rooted love so entrenched and so accepted, that it could only have been forged in other lifetimes together. Ever fall in love at first sight? It’s likely the recognition of ancient, soul-deep love.
Inevitably, in Twin Soul connections, we come up against the “dance”. The connection and disconnection between these two people is incredibly frustrating but cannot be rushed. We are dealing with an important process here. Within the connection, you may find that one person is very keen to move the relationship on to higher levels, while the other resists. It’s often because this relationship touches deep, painful emotions that have likely been suppressed. It’s not uncommon for this half of the duo to try and escape.
The fires of twin flame love can burn
The intensity of this connection means there is much telepathic interchange. Each one feels the other's pain and confusion. Both are pulled around by the compulsion of the energy through a connection like an umbilical cord.
When one of them flees to escape the overwhelming intensity, the other experiences grief that won’t heal until they reconnect. Perhaps the “runner” in the relationship has experienced a lifetime of destructive love affairs that have left them feeling worthless or afraid. They may crave love, but they can’t accept it when it’s offered so they push it away. Or, perhaps, they just never found the right person until now.
In time, the “runner” finds themselves at a crossroads. They can choose between living in pain because they’re separated from their Twin Soul, or they can choose to work through their fears, face that deep love, and possibly reach their own personal Eden.
Twin soul love can be a blessing and a curse
For the one who has been willing to go that extra mile all along, the spectrum of emotions they experience before this reunion is infinite. Some will believe that the connection is entirely one-sided or that they’ve imagined it all along, leaving them feeling foolish and vulnerable.
Even though the process is painful, these two must remain strong. Twin Soul connections don’t happen at convenient times. There are a million reasons why they shouldn’t get together—existing relationships, location, money, circumstance, and so much more. However, Madam Destiny, in her infinite wisdom and effort, has made up her mind. Chances are, this couple has crossed paths many times over the years but never met until the very moment Destiny had planned.
There can be little doubt that meeting your Twin Soul pulls you onto a more spiritual path, especially as you look back and marvel at how you came to be together. A Twin Soul connection can be life-changing, but it takes enormous courage and infinite patience.
If you’re with your Twin Soul, you know this connection can be a gift and a curse. The process takes a lot of patience. It’s not a relationship you can rush. If you’re trying to force the other person to bend to your will, you’re likely not ready to really connect yourself. There should be no blame here, only deep and unconditional love.
